It depends on the syndicate opportunities available, so we don’t have a fixed minimum amount. Typically, a 5% investment in one syndicate ranges from €5,000 to €50,000.
Are there additional costs after the original investment?
No, the price you pay for your share in the syndicate is the only fee members pay.
How are horses selected?
All horses listed on Stride undergo an exhaustive diligence process before purchase, the assessment includes pedigree analysis, inspection of physical attributes, gait analysis, and several other factors that determine the fair market value of the racehorse. Horses are purchased at the sales in conjunction with our experienced buying team alongside advice from our trainers.
How are syndicates grouped together?
After the horses are purchased, the horses are individually assessed over several weeks of training. We then group them into syndicates with the aim of providing the syndicate owners the best outcome in terms of race variety and a race outcome.
What happens to my investment at the end of the partnership?
As horses from the syndicate are sold you will receive your pro rata share of sales proceeds immediately on the close of the sale.
As a racehorse owner what correspondence do I receive regarding my horse?
Owners receive updates at a minimum of once per week. All updates will be delivered to members via our app. These updates at times include photos, video footage and audio reports on your horse and are designed to keep you informed as to its progress and movements. Our aim is to provide you via the app a window into the full journey of your horse from pre-training to race day. You also receive notifications of all your horse race entries and details of the full race card. Our trainers will provide pre-race and post-race comments on your horse.
When will we receive distributions from race winnings?
Prize money will be distributed to owners pro rata as soon as the winnings are in the Stride account. Stride do not take a percentage of winnings, 100% is distributed to members.
