WOOTTON BASSETT-EIRNIN

The dam, Eirnin, has been a good producer, particularly with a horse called Emporio (at one time rated 100) and a horse called, Sherpa, who had a career ending injury in the Irish Derby but looked as if certain to become a proper group horse but for that. This filly looks mature, all of Eirnin's runners to date have been by Fastnet Rock or Zoffany and Wootton Bassett is a big sire upgrade on her, probably as good a sire who has gone to any filly on this page in a few years. She's got a big hip and looks as though she could be a pretty forward type as well. With the sire upgrade, you'd be very hopeful this filly could be a runner. The family is on fire back into the second dam, Ask Me Nicely, who has produced a bunch of stakes performers.
